As a 15 year old who has come to do work experience in such a diverse multicultural area, I have learned to be able to talk and understand different people with unique accents both over the phone and face to face.
This experience has been helpful in learning how to deal with people who may not always have English as their first language therefore being more patient in helping and trying to figure out what maybe the best conclusion for their request/problem.
With this I also learned many benefits of responsibility, watching my employers giving people advice on the options they have available. The options given to people could also become helpful to me or you. I learned what my options maybe in the future in regards to what type of property I could buy or rent myself. I have learned the differences in the types of properties like a house, flat, apartment etc. Instead of getting advice be able to give advice myself.
I have seen some of the problems some people face every day and how to help them. All this at a job at a Letting/Estate Agency. Through that, working in an agency also gives me a good benefit of learning the different stages of buying a house or renting a property.
While being able to enjoy the meaning of peace when no customers are currently around once their problems are solved and with the feeling that I have helped these people, even in the slightest bit. I’ll say this: this letting agency, iLet4You, is an AMAZING place for work experience and to work for.
